Jessica Paulose always knew that she wanted to work in the helping profession. Her mother, an ICU nurse, greatly influenced her choice of becoming an occupational therapist. Her fascination with the sciences and the various advances made in the field of medicine also influenced Jessica’s decision to be a clinician. She graduated from the University Of Ill in Chicago with a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy.
As an Occupational Therapist, she has had the opportunity to work in various settings including inpatient rehab, acute care, outpatient hand therapy, sub-acute rehab, and home health. After treating in all these settings, she found it most gratifying when interacting with the geriatric population. Her passion is to help the elderly reach their rehabilitation goals and to help them in going back home while maintaining an optimal quality of life. Jessica has had training in NDT, PNF and other neuromuscular rehab techniques. She has also trained in low vision and dementia treatment geared towards the geriatric population. Jessica joined Tricare Rehab in 2009 and has been working at the Chateau Care Center for the past 4 years. Jessica enjoys spending time with her kids Ryan and Amber. She enjoys listening to music, cooking and going on cruises with the family.
Jessica enjoys coming to work at Chateau Care Center because she likes the family like atmosphere. There is great camaraderie between the staff members and the patients receive individual attention for all their needs.
